Lieng, Sam and Kiew headed off to China, they tried to get Li Liang to go, but he said he had things to do and this might give him time to bond some with Mo Li, fat chance, but it is worth a try. Before they left Mo Li turned into an adult.
After arriving in China, Kiew of course found the chess set, she is bound and determined to be the best.
Lieng and Sam found a quiet spot to read some books together.
After they settled in, decided to go to the market and found a place to eat and ordered egg rolls, so Sam had to find the receipe for it.
After they ate and looked around the market place, went back to camp to get some rest. The next day, Lieng went fishing and they went to the Scholars Garden and of course Liew found another chess table and Lieng was not impressed with the bicycle she had to ride.
Lieng looks like she belongs there and she even splurged and got a new dress and hairdo.
They did more of the same the next couple of days and Lieng got her three dragon fish for an opportunity for home, so she was thrilled with that. On the third day, they said their goodbyes and off they went back home.
Now after they left alot happened. Li Liang built Lieng a zen garden, Mo Li decided to flirt with Hank Goddard, even though his wife had just passed away and Li Liang was actually seeing a mystery woman and Kiew turned into a young adult, whew, alot happened, so here are the pics and that should about bring the story up to date.
At least she had some fun, that is what counts.
She is identical to her mother, so going to have to watch what I do with them, guess I should change her hairstyle.
The Ming Dynasty, by Diane Green
The Ming Dynasty is a story of generations of immortal sims, eight to be exact. It all started here, http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/. Not sure how to hyperlink right now, but you can still go to this site. The postings will be slow coming, but it just adds to the story. I hope you enjoy reading this.

Just an Update
I am really having a good time with this dynasty. I am writing this to just update for my own use and of course for anyone that reads this.
Li Liang is finally immortal and ate ambrosia and has death flower in inventory, how exciting, he has six friends, owns a park and a business. He maxed sculpting and supermaxed gardening. He obtained his opportunities, can't think off the top of my head, I have been updating info and putting it in their bio, which was a very good idea from a member of the forum. He is going to do the sculptures of all immortals.
Lieng is supermaxing fishing, she got the LTW of Perfect Aquarium, which was pretty simple. So naturally she is going to go for the max on that. She can also paint portraits now, so she will probably do that with the other immortals. I have not purchased her properties as of yet, not sure what I am going to do. They are getting ready to take a trip to China and when they retrieve those books, that will give me enough money for a property or two. She already has most of her friends.
Little Kiew, hmm not quite sure what she is going to do. I didn't plan ahead and so far it has worked out. Maybe inventing or something. She is going to have her friends pretty quick. I think I will put Kiew in politics. I have played that one quite a few times and it is not that hard. She can make most of her friends in school.
Although Sam is not going to be immortal, he is trying for sculpting, so he can do the elder ice sculpture on Li Lieng and he also can paint portraits. I have all portraits for all immortals covered.
I am including screenshots of all updates, as of right now, there is not a lot going on. Kiew turned into a youth, Liang turned into an adult and Mo Li is to follow the next day.
Little Kiew toddler and youth portraits and ice sculptures.
Usually what I do, as soon as they age up, they get their sculpture done and portrait done and then I don't have to worry about it and now I am using their bio for their info. That is about it for now. DG

Life Goes On - Chapter 16
Lieng's journal:
I am writing this right now, because father is still taking mom's death really hard.
I guess I shouldn't talk, I sit and visit with mom's ice sculpture in the foyer, how nuts is that.
I even caught Mo Li sobbing, but she would not admit it. She said there was something in her eye, ok, whatever you want me to think.
Father does alot of reading and Mo Li really stays to herself, now she goes downtown to read. I am really starting to worry about her. Ok, enough of the somber stuff, here is a few pics of my pride and joy.
Kiew adores her grandpa and Kiew is what makes father happy right now. Sam ask me a question the other day. He adoringly looked in my eyes and ask if we could have another baby.
Ummmm, I told him I didn't think so, there was enough going on right now and I just don't think it is right. Look at Mo Li, she can't even have kids because of this dynasty situation or even get married. He wasn't very happy, but he knew what he was getting into when we got married.
Father did do Kiew ice sculpture and it turned out great. I did her portrait, but I didn't really like it, so Sam did one and his turned out better, so we hung that one in the museum. Mine are like mom's, they are dark and fuzzy. Guess I will get lots of practice, I am the designated painter for the dynasty and father is the sculptor. Sam will do my adult and elder painting. I am now trying to figure out what business's to own. We are kinda short on cash, but Sam is working towards 5 Star Chef because he wants that new fridge.
Sam had a birthday and turned into an adult. Oh my, he is so handsome and I adore him. He is such a good father and can make me laugh when I am blue. He has been so gentle and understanding.
Then father wanted to talk to Sam and I. He said he was sending us to China, just the two of us.
I said no at first, but father insisted. He said he would watch little Kiew, she was going to be a youth in a couple of days and everything would be fine. I finally gave in and now I am getting excited to actually visit my heritage. Father said, just remember, you have to ride bikes, so you better shape up. Excuse me?
Anyway, I think that is all for now. I forgot to put Kiew's birthday pic in, so I will close with a picture of my darling Kiew. TaTa for now.

Life Changes - Chapter Fifteen
I must say, alot has gone on just since I spoke last. I turned into an elder, which I was not happy about, but, you can't stay young forever.
Mo Li actually came out of her room to wish me happy birthday. My sweet Agnes was looking as gorgeous as ever. We have come such a long way in such a short time. My birthday has made me do alot of soul searching. In the mean time, I think Lieng is pregnant. I cannot wait to be a grandpa.
Yep, this is a good sign, unless she ate something that didn't agree with her, but I don't think that is it.
We all were very supportive, because she was not a happy camper, so moody.
I even got a sculpture of Lieng while she was pregnant, glad it didn't take too long, because she went a running when I got done.
All was quiet one night when we heard this yelling. I ran up the stairs and Lieng said her water broke.
Sam is freaking out, I guess I was too, then poor Lieng looked like she was going crosseyed....
And finally little Kiew was born, which means beautiful and it fit just like a glove.
Agnes let Lieng rest after her ordeal, in fact we all pitched in to help with the new arrival.
After all the excitement we all went to bed and left the happy family to care for Kiew. Even Mo Li had her say and held the baby, but that didn't last long and off she went to her room. The next evening, Agnes and I had some quiet time, because I knew it was almost time.
I will miss her sweet face so much and all of the loving things she has done and all the love she has given me. I can't even begin to say how much she has blessed me with our children and then........
I can't believe we timed our night just right. I don't know what I am going to do without her. I will never love another like I loved my dear Agnes. I had to be alone, so I went to the one place where I could say goodbye to my sweet love.
In memory of Agnes Crumplebottom Ming. May you rest in peace. Love Li Liang
